Verizon Wireless to choose Linux as main platform

Verizon Wireless has made a tough decision on announcing they will support Linux as their main mobile platform. However, it won't prelude the idea on keep selling Android platform, Windows Mobile based, and Blackberry.

Verizon Wireless has joined LiMo foundation on supporting  LiMo OS, Linux based operating system for mobile device. LiMo member including NTT DoCoMo, Panasonic, Vodafone, Motorola and Samsung.

There are several LiMo-powered handsets already in the market. Motorola has Moto U9, Razr2 V8, Moto Z6w, and Motorokr Z6. Samsung has it in SGH-i800. NEC and Panasonic are making LiMo under FOMA brand for DoCoMo.
