Sharp's sales rise near 5% in China

Sharp is no longer for Japan market. Now they aimed for potential China market. Sharp now has 19.1% of China domestic market share and last quarter reported their sales rose to 4.8%.
What's so popular about Sharp phone? Well, based on report, the most selling product is low end smartphone. Probably, their low end smartphone is much better (and prettier) than those offered by Nokia and Motorola, country's mobile leader.
China is the largest market in the industry. There are 574 million subscribers said Ministry of Industry and Information.
