NSN and mobilkom Austria test fastest I-HSPA
Nokia Siemens Network (NSN) and Austrian operator, mobilkom, demonstrated the fastest ever Internet High Speed Package Access (I-HSPA). The trial showed 10.1 Mbps is reached. I-HSPA is one derivative for heavy Internet usage and data transmisson. Soon, it will break the record of 10.1 Mbps.
The I-HSPA project with mobilkom is one implementation of NSN's Long Term Evolution (LTE) commitment. It will standardize the new telecommunication connection.
Boris Nemsic, CEO of mobilkom, said, "The evolution from GPRS via UMTS and HSPA towards LTE is a consequent line in our complementary network strategy."
