iPhone strategy in Italy will be different

After several other countries in Europe, iPhone now reach Italy, land of Roman. The operators hold a deal with Apple is not one, but two operators. They are Vodafone and Telecom Italy. In offering the iPhone, Apple will use different strategy compare to other European countries. Why is that?
About 88% telecommunication customers in Italy use prepaid plan, while only 51% of most European countries use prepaid plan. Thus, Apple will find difficulty in using profit sharing model for certain period. That's why Apple make deal with two operators, give more options to customers.
Closer to 3G iPhone launching, Apple aggresively make deal to more countries' operator to increase their sales.
