Quickstart: Buying, Plans, Repairs – Cellphone and Mobile Reviews

Cellphone Vibes is the home of reviews for the major plans available from cellphone service providers. Nothing in this world is as wonky as the cellphone markets. There are a number of things a person has to keep straight when considering any new move. There are the plans (with and without contract, pay as you go, and many others), the carriers (which have differing service areas for different data rates, differing customer service satisfaction levels, and much more), the phones themselves (which is a whole can of beans by itself). Any decision in the cellphone marketplace can be a bit of a tricky thing if you aren’t careful to consider all of your options.

That’s where Cellphone Vibes comes in. This website seeks to be a complete resource for those seeking to move to a different wireless carrier, buy a new cellphone, compare new plans and plan availability (current customers of wireless carriers often don’t qualify for new or better plans, believe it or not), repair their cellphone, and even sell your old mobile.

Below we have included a brief overview of everything we include on this website. Be sure to check back here often for updates (as new cellphones, plans, etc. roll out we’ll try and stay on top of it).

The Best Plans

Plans in the cellphone world break down into a few different types:

  • contract
  • no-contract
  • pay-as-you-go (with or without a contract)
  • pre-paid (as above, with or without a contract)

The Best Carriers

There are a few major carriers in the United States and many regional carriers that use the major carrier’s infrastructure.

  • Verizon Wireless
  • AT&T Mobility
  • Sprint Corporation
  • T-Mobile US
  • U.S. Cellular

The Best Phones Reviewed

Now here’s where everything gets really complex. You can buy a cellphone, you can ‘rent’ one under contract, you could ‘buy’ one by having the cost of the phone added to your cellphone plan… You could also get an ‘unlocked’ phone that could be used on multiple networks… And much, much more.
